Without mentioning her sentence and from house arrest, Cristina Kirchner criticized Milei's economic plan and called Bullrich "disastrous."

Barely 48 hours after the massive rally in Plaza de Mayo , Cristina Kirchner sent an audio message to another rally in her defense. The former president addressed the activists who held a rally in her defense, whom she had earlier asked to move from the front door of her house to Parque Lezama. From her house arrest, she questioned Javier Milei's "economic plan," highlighted the rising unemployment rate , and criticized the Minister of National Security, Patricia Bullrich .
Unlike her last address in Plaza de Mayo, there was no mention of her house arrest sentence, her "banning," or criticism of the judiciary. Cristina Kirchner focused on the economy, calling Milei's administration a "social disaster."
"The new unemployment rates have been released. In the suburban districts, the heart of the manufacturing industry, unemployment reached 9.7%, and Greater Córdoba, once Argentina's industrial pride, reached a similar figure, 9.2%," the former president told the fewer than 10,000 activists who gathered to hear her address—which lasted just over ten minutes—in the amphitheater of Lezama Park.
He recalled that Milei's government owes the provinces debts in pesos, but also referred to the lack of dollars . "Public accounts increasingly need more dollars. The Argentine economy doesn't have them and consumes them almost with the voracity of a drug addict . We're doomed," he declared. He added: "These people came to talk to us about the future, and they only brought us the worst of the past."

Along those lines, he emphasized that since the lifting of the exchange rate controls, "a third of the IMF loan has been lost." "The economic model is unsustainable and will collapse," he reiterated, echoing his speech in Plaza de Mayo. "They can send guards here, the Gendarmerie, and the Prefecture, but what problem are they going to solve if the people don't eat the police or even Cristina in prison? Sooner or later, this model will collapse."
He also criticized Patricia Bullrich for the Federal Police fence at the corner of San José and Humberto Primo, where she is under house arrest. He called her a "disastrous lady" and, toward the end of his message, asked members not to travel from Parque Lezama to her house because of the "turtleheads," as he called the officers in riot gear.
Cristina Kirchner's plea: "Don't come to San José, it's full of turtle heads."
Initially, the mobilization in support of Cristina Kirchner was scheduled for San José 1111, where she is serving house arrest with an electronic anklet . But just like last Wednesday's event—scheduled as a caravan to Comodoro Py, it ended at Plaza de Mayo—the Friday holiday also changed its location .
After the Federal Police installed a fence in front of her house during the early hours of the morning on Bullrich's orders, the organizers moved the rally to Lezama Park, 20 blocks away.

In the same place where Javier Milei and his libertarian militants held a couple of events, the Kirchnerists held a meeting without a stage and only with two towers with speakers . There were no flags from any political groups, nor from mayors or unions.
Scheduled for 5 p.m., a few minutes after that time, a broadcaster encouraged the audience to sing the hit "Vamos a volver," which Cristina Kirchner turned into a challenge with her message in Plaza de Mayo.
Shortly after 5:20 p.m., a group with drums set up in the middle of a not-quite-full amphitheater. On Brasil Street, one of the City Government's tourist buses stopped in front of the amphitheater due to traffic, and the tourists, cell phones in hand, captured the beginning of the Peronist liturgy.
Minutes before 6 p.m., Máximo Kirchner appeared , alongside the mayor of Quilmes and also a member of La Cámpora, Mayra Mendoza.
The national representative thanked the party members for responding to two calls in two days. "I just want to say thank you, thank you for being able to organize this truly popular gathering in 24 hours, for having listened to what Cristina said this morning, for coming here. Because one of the first conditions we need to reorganize is to be organized, disciplined, and have an unwavering attitude in the face of provocations, pressure, and unjust sentences," Kirchner stated.
And she expressed the "We will return" in a message looking ahead to 2027: "And as she said today, all of this is less bad when you raise your voices, go by her house, honk the horn, shout, and it will be less bad if we can organize ourselves and gather a political majority so that in 2027 Argentina returns to the path it should never have abandoned on December 10, 2015. Thank you very much for so much love, I won't have enough time to thank you."
